Marani Zippza
Marani Zippza was founded in 2017 by two young winemakers. The inspiration for the name was the ancient grape pits found in the village of Shulaveri in Kvemo Kartli Georgia. Kartli is a traditionally classic wine region in Central Georgia with plenty of local grape varieties to choose from. The winemakers decided to focus on the indigenous local varieties of Kartli and produce wines with district character that express the place. The environment, ecology, the vineyard care, the yield management and minimalism are of paramount importance for these winemakers.
